minimal to the max. The simple nod to midcentury mod is just right. Subtly curved bent plywood seat floats on four chrome legs in clean, comfy design. Bright white pops in crisp complement to gleaming chrome.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks nice - I bought this two months ago and although it looks very good, please be aware that it is not very strong. Not good for heavier folks. The little feet pads are not replaceable - if they break the entire chair needs replacing and they are a little flimsy. It's working out fine for us - but do be informed. Wish I had bought higher end chair!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wobble Wobble So I bought these chairs in December and it is now April. Since then the chairs have increased in wobble and one of the chairs the legs bent. They were easy to assemble but they reflect the cost. The quality is low. They aren't meant to withstand everyday wear and tear. They were treated gently and so far do not have any scratches. I just can't have guests sit in them without fear they will fall out. I wouldn't recommend buying these chairs. If I have the option of returning them I totally would.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap and Wobbly... ...but pretty! These chairs look great in our dining area, but from the start have wobbled - the legs on several don't all touch the ground if the screw assembly is tightened, and then if it's loosened so that all four legs touch they wobble at the seat/legs junction. Also, on two out of the four of them the lip of the white wood seat chipped within weeks of gentle, proper use (nothing out of the ordinary to cause a chip/break). Last, and this is not the chairs' fault but is something I wish I'd thought about prior to purchase, they might dent your hardwood floors - they do in our midcentury house (original floors - have stood up to a lot over the years but can't to the pointy feet of these chairs). We've tried several kinds of felt pads to prevent this but because the legs are wobbly and the feet hit the floor at an angle, the pads just slip off after a few days. Will probably have to replace sooner rather than later. Bummed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wobbly!! I bought six of these chairs for my dining room. CB2 delivered and assembled them- they were wobbly but they told us that this is "normal" and that the more we sit on them the more stable they would get. Within one month 2 of the chairs broke while guests were sitting on them- the legs completely loosened from the chair. CB2 replaced the broken ones. A couple weeks later it happened again, CB2 replaced all 6 this time. Today all 6 chairs are wobbly- some of the legs don't even touch the floor. CB2 informed us again that this is "normal". Love the sleek design and crisp white color but definitely not worth the hassle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Room for improvement We bought two of these chairs to go with a small birch dining table for our studio apartment. They look great, and would likely go with any decorating style. However, they do scratch fairly easily (be careful with keys, rings, pets, etc). All in all, I would still recommend the ideal chair!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Quality We purchased over a dozen for our new office space. We bought them with intentions to use for our lunch room area. We are currently down to six chairs. They are wobbly and fall apart easily. We are constantly tightening screws and adjusting the legs of the chair. I wouldn't suggest these chairs... especially at the current price point.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but there were some wobble issues I sat on all the dining room chairs at CB2 and found these the most comfortable. That said, of the 4 I ordered, 2 seemed to have wobble issues. Look, I am in no way saying that I am the best at putting stuff together, so I am open to my having made a mistake, but I did take them apart and put them back together several times, and once with with the help of someone who is really good at this sort of stuff, and the chairs still wobbled. I will also add that when you are putting them together, look for the tiny arrows on the legs that point you towards the front (they are easy to miss but assembly is much easier once you see them and for some reason the instructions do not tell you they are there). Lastly, I WISH CB2 would do more colors like teal and silver and tan, etc. Color is wonderful - embrace it! That said, I hear the colors they do have chip, so CB2 should solve that issue first.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great modern look, very easy to clean. My husband and I ordered 4 of these a couple months ago to replace the old upholstered dining room chairs, which were becoming too overwhelming to clean after a baby and a messy toddler. They were quick to assemble and look great, however the bottoms of the feet are pretty slippery on our hardwoods and the chairs tended to slide when sitting down and getting up. We purchased little stickers to put on the bottom of the feet which helps as long as the stickers stay in place. Another thing that we had to get used to is how cold to touch these chairs get. Other than that we're pretty happy with them and really enjoy the crisp look of them against our dark table and walnut hardwoods.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect white chair With a simple and minimal design, this chair is all I needed. I combined it with a wood dining table and it gives the perfect modern/rustic combo I was looking for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Scratches easily We got these chairs and assembled them last weekend. We love the look, however, my husband just sat on one and the buttons on his jeans pockets scratched one of the chairs. It's a pretty deep scratch and we have no idea how to fix it. :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What More Do You Need?! I never, ever write reviews. I find them to be valuable, but I do not want to contribute to the chaos...I feel obligated to give my .02:First--If anyone feels this chair is difficult to assemble, you probably shouldn't be sharing the planet with the rest of us: it's a total of 9 screws in 3 locations. In closing--I didn't give it 5 stars because I haven't used it yet, but it's assembled at waiting for my butt. The chair is great. The chair is reasonably priced. The chair works as a chair which is what you're buying.(See why I don't write reviews.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing chair! Such a great purchase. The chairs arrived quickly and were easy to set up. Perfect look for my kitchen; I paired with my own antique wood table and my family raved about them. One arrived damaged, but the cb2 representative whom I spoke with went out of her way to find another chair and even credited me back the shipping cost. She was excellent. To my delight, the replacement chair was at my door step the very next day - unbelievable customer service! Thank you!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I expected more from CB2 We just moved to a new house and have been generally enjoying the furnishing and decorating process. We ordered six of these so-called "Ideal Chairs" in white for our modern kitchen and I'm pretty disappointed. There were four major issues: 1) These chairs are so hard to put together, it is absurd. We've purchased several items from several stores that we needed to "assemble" and these are the most frustrating of anything we've bought. I would expect this from a lower-end retailer, not CB2. 2) Imagine our delight when we received six chair-sized boxes at our home. 'Yay! Minimal assembly!' Fast forward to actually opening the boxes, and the chairs are in pieces, taking up only 1/3 of each box, and the rest of each box is filled with an insane amount of bubble wrap. We now have 10 garbage bags full of bubble wrap in our garage, and only two chairs built because we can't stand to spend another minute doing this today. 3) One of the chairs arrived with missing hardware -- each chair requires 9 screws and we got 7. So not only are these chairs difficult to assemble, but we didn't even have enough screws to complete the job. 4) To top it off, one of the seats had a chunk broken off of it. Great, just great. CB2 is replacing it but still, this is such a hassle... The only reason I am giving these chairs SOME points is that the finished product looks decent. I don't think I will shop at CB2 again because of this experience, which is a shame because they have a lot of very nice-looking things.
