silk road. Handwoven of silk sari remnants salvaged from textile mills in the Bangalore region of southern India, each of these dhurrie rugs has an inner energy and luminescence that light up the room. Through an intricate, multi-step process that can take up to 20 artisans one week to complete, fabric is selected by color, sorted and handspun on a traditional punja loom. Woven with the rich texture and sheen of silk, tonal greys align with variegated shades of black and white in a palette and pattern unique to each rug.

How will it look in your room? 12"x12" rug samples are available in stores for a fee refundable upon return of the sample.

handwoven recycled sari silk grey rug 5x8 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Quite Grey... Purchased the rug in 5x8 size for our living room. The rug looks great and texture is nice! The color isn't exactly grey like in the photos - a little lighter blue tone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous! This rug is so beautiful, it absolutely makes a statement in our living room - yet it is subtle at the same time. We have huge windows, lots of natural light and live in sunny Alberta; in our home this rug definitely gives way to tones of light blue/teal, not what I expected (I'd only seen it online), but I love it! Highly recommend!
