Almost Garden of Eden Light
Very nice size for dining room in small home or condo. Nice white shade and diffuser. The diffuser is a bit thick so you will need to use at least a 75W equivilant bulb or brighter and it would have been nice if it came as a hard-wired light as well as a plug-in. But youcan't beat the style and the PRICE.

I am very satisfied with this product. I had an electrician install it as I wanted to have it hardwired. It looks great and the pricing is excellent.

Nice light, a few glitches along the way...
As many others have commented, the light is PLUG IN, which I thought was dumb for a ceiling light. I wasn't really paying attention to this when I bought it. I was determined to make this work because I loved the price and modern true white shade (many others have yellowish linen shades and cost so much more). It wasn't too hard to convert this to a hard-wired light after buying a conversion kit at a nearby CB2 competitor.
The other issue I've encountered is with the included CFL bulb. My light is unfortunately wired into a dimmer switch, and the included bulb makes seizure-inducing flickers if the light is dimmed at all. Even if not dimmed, the bulb flickers and stays on for a while when the switch is off. I'll have to find another bright bulb for this thing. I'd suggest using this in a non-dimmable circuit to avoid these bulb issues.

Awesome lamp!
I looked high and low for this exact lamp! I found many similar but they were too pricey. We recently purchased a home and created a guest bedroom where this lamp now lives. We have moderately high A-frame ceilings and wanted to take advantage of them. This lamp is hanging in the middle of the room, roughly two feet from the ceiling and the cord is the perfect length. It comes with a wire attached to the light bulb socket to support the weight so we hung that over the main hook and then hooked the wire's end loop onto the hook that is nearest the wall. I bought a white decorative chain at the hardware store to dangle along side it - it looks beautiful and has great lighting. Its strong enough to light the entire room with no additional lamps. The lamp comes with a matching piece for the bottom so when you look up you can not see the light bulb - which is just perfect. Assembly was very easy and the material is very sturdy. Lots of compliments on this one!

Great lamp but there should not be a plug!
We really love the look of this, and I think the value was great, but we had to get our electrician to come in to install it and cut off the plug. Not sure why there is a plug for a ceiling pendant light? Think that might be a bit of a design flaw. I don't think anyone wants a wire to be running across the ceiling and down a wall to be plugged in! So that would be my only criticism of this otherwise great lamp.

Great Value
I've been shopping for a light fixture to go over my dining room table for months and decided to take a chance buying this on line because of the price. Very pleased with the size, style and lighting. It is casual looking though, so if you want something formal, this probably won't work for you. I'm glad that I bought it and definitely recommend it.

Looks nice, but not bright enough
The lamp looks great, but the one cfl bulb is just not bright enough unless you have a very small space. I had to return it.

Great Quality Great Price!
Cant beat the price or quality for this pendant. Easy install/no brainer. Easy to clean diffuser and just dust shade. I have not been able to find another like it for under $100.00. I bought an extra just to use the shade on an Arc lamp I have , worked great! standard shades cost between 79-89.00 dollars this one gave me the larger diameter I was looking for . Great Buy!

Best Deal out their on a great round Pendant Light
"When I was searching for lights for our bedrooms I really wanted something that diffused the light, was light in color and not to big or small. I had bought this one for our guest room and it worked so great!! Plus we put in a dimmer switch which makes it even more versatile depending on your mood. I first purchased a different one from another company for our master bedroom and was super disappointed when it came it was HUGE way too big for our room -woops- guess I didn't read the size! So I bought another one of these and am very happy with it! For the price, the size, the amount of light it puts out its perfect for a bedroom! Plus its on a dimmer too! :) and I added ribbon to it to make it more interesting on the top and bottom to tie in with the colors in my bedroom. Love how it turned out and couldn't be happier with it!"

I'm going to order more
I bought two for my 1950s style home and they both look right at home without looking retro (which I hate). One over a desk in my office and the other over our dining room table. I was a little concerned it wouldn't work for my dining room table (rectangle seats 6), because this light provides so much light through its top and sides, and so little through the bottom diffuser. I was wrong. It does a great job lighting the room and the table. Also, easy-peasy assembly/install for even the most challenged DIYer.

Excellent budget-priced option
I coveted a more expensive cousin of this lamp (priced around 200) but couldn't justify the expense. I purchased this lamp instead, and have been very happy with it: the lamp looks more high-end that it is. I was delighted to discover that *all* hanging hardware is included, making it an even better deal. Well worth the price.

the perfect overhead light
our living area lacked any overhead lighting, and as newlyweds, we owned very few lamps. we bought this lamp because we loved the style, and it fit perfectly. it was extremely simple to set up and you can't beat that price. we ended up purchasing a second one.

Love it!!
This lamp was perfect for my dining room. Good quality, and easy to assemble. We didn't want to have a wire hanging down from the ceiling so we just cut the plug off and hard wired it to a ceiling mount. Easy!

Like it but...
I purchased this pendant lap for my breakfast table. I think CB2 need to do a better job describing this product because I thought I was going to be able to connect this to my ceiling but when I got the product I noticed this can only work if you plug it into an outlet. I was very disappointed because I really like the lamp, it has a contemporary style and great price. I beat this is great for a room or small areas where you don't care to show the electric core.

Beautiful for the right space
Love the look. The quality of the light is great- diffuse but bright. Best used where the hanging hardware is out of view as it detracts from the overall clean lines.

Love it but missing a part
I would have given it a 5 for looks and value, but the product description says hardware included. That is true if you are planning to plug it in. If you are planning to install it in the ceiling it is missing the part that goes in the ceiling. Thus the 3 rather than 5 rating.
