simple sophistication!
I am a total foodie..that being said, the wares that my food sets upon has to be perfect! I am super picky, and when I saw these online I knew they would be a perfect neutral yet chic backdrop to all sorts of yummy things. I was THRILLED when I got them out of the packaging! Now when people come over for dinner, they compliment my food AND my dishes! Side note: the bowls are perfect for my heartier main meal soups and still look elegant if only partially filled.

Photo-worthy salad plates
I bought a couple of the salad plates for food photography (I am a food blogger). They create a lovely, muted background for dishes and have a nice artisan look. They have a light sheen to them. The plates feel sturdy, like they will last a long time, and I think the rounded edges will help them resist chipping. I'm very pleased with the purchase!

Worse purchase ever
At first, I was excited with this purchase until I put it in the microwave. It cracked. And the plates are not durable. It chipped right away. I purchased the whole set and the dinner plates were the ones with the issue. I'm disappointed because now I only have a set of 6 as opposed to 8. I might purchase corelle plates to replace them. Very disappointed.

Very nice dishes..
Looks great and cleans easily. Unfortunately, 2 out of 4 sandwich plates arrived completely broken.

excellent value
i needed to replace our sad, chipped dishes, and got a 4-place(!) set with a $50 gift card, expecting this to be a sort of tide-us-over purchase with free money. so much better than i expected.
these are substantial, totally lovely, and the bowls are flat marvelous. simple and elegant without being cold or silly. very cb2, basically, in the best way.
this is the classiest you'll ever feel while still having to remove a sticker from the bottom of your dishes. total deal.
(oh, and the packing? done with something more intense than care. not a blemish.)
