looks great but the top finish need improvement
I love the look and style of this table, but as other reviewers have stated the finish on the table top doesn't hold up . There are already surface scratches on the table top and I only use a damp sponge to clean it- the matte finish looks great but there should be a better sealant on it to make it more durable. The base being metal is great - no problems with the finish at all.

Great table for a small space!
I bought this table about 2 years ago and it's great! It's sturdy, durable and I get complimented on it all the time. My apartment isn't super small, but living in Manhattan means it isn't large either... so this table works great. Very comfortably seats four, but I've had up to 6.

I love this table!
I purchased this table for my dining space. It fits perfectly. The design is classic and it's very well made. I have paired different chairs with it and they all seem to go with this table. I highly recommend this table.

Perfect fit!
With a very small dining "area" to work with, we needed a table that wouldn't take up to much space (or overpower the room)... but could seat at least 4. This table was sized perfectly for the job. We also love the clean lines and modern look.
My only complaint is that we have a few little scratches already, but the quality overall is surprisingly good for this price. (side note: I had one of the best customer service experiences ever with the delivery team).

Great Table, perfect size and look
I bought this table for my dinnette area in my newly renovated contemporary ktichen (off white shaker cabinets, gray quartz counters, and stainless appliances).
I combined this table with modern looking white Zuo chairs, and we can comfortably fit 4 chairs around it.
This table came well packaged, no damage, and was pretty easy to assemble (especially with power tools). Its a great texture, and seems easy to clean and quite stable (base is heavy).
I can't testitfy to its durability as we only had it for a week, but I would easily recommend it as a great compact dinnette table.

Good for the price
I've had this table for 6 months, and it has held up much better than I worried it might. Many other reviews note the table is easy to scratch - but I've been moderately careful and it still looks great. Well, it did until yesterday when my friend spilled fragrance oil on it, tried to clean it up without telling me, and put wet/oily place mats back on the table so the next morning the paint was warped and pulling off the table. But if you don't do that, and are good about using place mats and coasters and not throwing hard things like keys down on it, it will hold up quite nicely. It's perfect for my small NYC studio apt. Probably not a good table for kids though.

Looks nice, but chips too easily
Nice looking table, but the finish chips way too easily. Have owned it for less then 6 months and there are several obvious chips in the top. For the price I would have expected a slightly higher quality finish.

Beautiful interpretation and very affordable
I had seriously contemplated getting the Saarinen table and Breuer chairs. Then I saw the Odyseey table, and, luckily for me, sanity kicked in. I paired it with the tweed pony chairs.
Set-up was very quick.
I am very happy with this interpretation of the big names, and I easily saved myself $7000!

Great, Simple Table
The table is easy to put together, easy to clean and the perfect size for a smallish breakfast area. It seats three chairs plus a highchair easily. The only thing I don't love about the table is that it is not quite heavy enough. My almost 2 year old daughter can push the table away from her. I wish it were a little heavier. Other than that, I highly recommend it and would buy it again even with this little issue. Very happy with our purchase, especially for the price.

Sleek Saarinen style
I'm using this table in a small office and can get five chairs around it comfortably for meetings. Other times I use it as my desk. It's versatile, beautiful and has great style.

Cheap paint chipped in just a few months
The paint on the top of this table chipped of within just a few months. There are at least 20 obvious chips and I rarely have used it. I expected the quality to be better. Unfortunately, it was not. I regret spending the money on this table and wont be buying another +$200 item from cb2.

Perfect Dining/work table for small apartments
I needed a small multi-functional table for a large studio loft and this table serves this purpose beautifully. Doesn't take much space but can easily sit four people. Elegant and great value. highly recommended.

can't go wrong with this table
I've had mine for a few years now. Still looks great, still sturdy, still looks good. If you are not careful with it, yes the paint will chip off the wooden table like any other white lacquered product. Treat it with respect, and it will last a long time.

perfect size for a small space
i love this table, it fits perfectly in the small dining space in my apartment. the style works great with my other mid-century furniture. Easy to assemble, but make sure the bolts are really tight or the tabletop will shift. good construction but i can see how the finish could scratch easily. Looks great with the Slim chair.

great table for two
Great dining table for one bedroom apartment. Perfect size for dinner for two or a laptop. If it ends up next to a couch, it can double as an end table. A really economical substitute for a Saarinen table.

Cool looking table
We were looking for something modern but that didn't break the budget and this definitely fit the bill. Looks great and also is sturdy.
