Great Price for a Real Gem
This clock is priced well and looks great in a room and is a bold design piece. The plug in light is optional so you dont have to use it. I think it is a great design element. I have my cord concealed with a floor wire cover that is painted to match my wall, clever placement near an outlet and an outlet timer so I dont have to use the switch. Worth all the effort for such a fun pice it makes my office.

Cool clock, but...
The thing I didn't like about this clock was that the power cord comes out of the side. You would figure a clock this sleek would have been designed better. The website photo is deceiving, so beware you get all the info. I've modified mine so the cord is in the back and have hard wired it to a concealed undercounter switch in my kitchen. The clock is mounted flush on my kitchen wall with no wires exposed. Another thing is a week after mounting it, it was slow by about five minutes. I've put brand new batteries in it. Making it electric would've been nice. I can deal with it and may replace the motor myself. I don't feel like packing it up and returning it. All and all I really like it and it looks great.

Exactly What I Was Searching For And More
This clock surpassed my hopes for it. I have been looking for a clock to put in my bedroom, as more of a decoration/wall art than used for time keeping (I use an alarm clock/mac.) But having it work was a must. It's amazing. VERY sturdy construction. Much heavier than I thought it was going to be not to mention better quality than a lot of other wall clocks out there. I thought the light was just enough, definitely not something that stays on when you're sleeping at night, but it far from too much. Love it though. HIghly recommend if you like the modern look of this clock. Definitely a good buy.

Cool but a little impractical
Overall I like the clock (after thinking about it, have decided not to return it) but when the LED is on, it gives off a very bright white light, which is difficult to see or make out in the photos.
Additionally, despite the depth of the clock which features plenty of hollow space, the power unit is separate and plugs into the side which means if you're thinking of hanging this and want the LED on, you will have to deal with a dangling cord even if you could hang it over an outlet.
It would probably work best sitting on piece of furniture at a decent height which would also allow you to cover up the cord.

Hot clock
I got this clock the day after it arrived in the San Francisco store, and I love it. It looks so hot in my bedroom and has a modern retro feel to it.
The only negative I would say is that the lighting inside is actually a bit brighter than it looked in store or even online. I definitely cannot sleep with it on, but the handy switch takes care of that.
