Nice lamp.
I bought this lamp to adhere to my platform bed. Nice lamp, good quality, but it was hard to attach it to that bed. I wish the clamp could swivel angles or something. Anyway, I attached a shelf to the back of my headboard and stuck the lamp on that way. Works well!

Very happy with purchase
I purchased this lamp to use with the carbon Go-cart desk. Super easy to put together! I basically took it out of the box and screwed in the light bulb (INCLUDED!!). Very easily attaches to the desk, simply tighten the nut. The placement of the on/off switch was no problem for me at all, I simply looped over the handle of a basket I placed on the desk top. Easily adjustable height. I am very happy with this purchase!

Great design but not functional
Really disappointed the switch for this lamp has been placed in such an awkward position. I received this as a gift but ended up returning it as it was just too much of a hassle using it :(

Great shape and great light!
It was very easy to assemble. It has a great shape and is easily moved into different positions. My only complaint is the unfortunate placement of the switch. I hope they rethink that placement, because other than that, it is a great interpretation of a desk lamp. The light bulb is far enough in the casing, you do not get the glare or see the bulb, and has a bright precise light. I love the added feature of the rubber tip.

Fantastic colorful retro clamp light!
I love this clamp light.. it is so mobile and works well in many different places. I purchased the bright orange and it adds a splash of color to my motif. I recommend this unique lighting highly!

Good looking lamp but...
No doubt a great looking lamp. I bought it to go with the Andes Bed, just like it's shown in the catalog. However, a major design flaw is the on/off switch. It's on the cord, which means you have to practically get out of bed to turn it off. I wish they had wired it so you could just reach up and turn it off by a switch on the shade. I ended up returning it.

I wanted to like this lamp
I liked this lamp when I saw it in the Santa Monica store while traveling--great color and lamp shade has a great shape. Ordered it online but found it just didn't work as a task lamp in my home office. The deal breakers were that the clamp does not attach well to the CB2 go-cart desk & the on/off switch is on the electrical cord rather than the lamp itself (e.g., on the lamp shade), which meant I had to reach awkwardly behind & under my desk & the filing cabinet to turn it on/off each time. Not ideal, so we returned it.

Although a nice looking addition to my drafting table, the fact that I have to reach all the way under the desk to turn the light on and off is a hassle.

Cool looking
The design is nice and cool, and match my little office. However, the arm is shorter than I thought. If the arm is longer, it would be better!

Decent Purchase
Great quality. Nice sublte pastelish color. I prefer the on/off switch on the lamp end rather than where it is on the cord. No rubber padding on the clamp, I had to make some to protect glass & wood.

I am not bothered by the cord not being on the lamp shade. It upgrades it from being a dorm light and saves you from being burnt. I used it on my art table and I appreciate that it does not take up any space. I like the color and it is an up grade from a dorm light.

Awesome!!
I had wanted this lamp for forever and finally decided to go for it. I have it attached do my alpine bed. It's perfect! Just the right splash of color (I have it in pollen) against my grey and white bedroom colors. The switch on the cord does mean I have to reach through my pillows to turn it on and off. But the light is perfect for reading and the look makes the very slight inconvenience totally worth it : )

The best reading lamp ever
I have attached two of these fantastic lamps to my bed. They provide tons of lights and look awesome. I love the industrial look, it's more than just lighting, it makes the room!

form and function
lamps were easy to assemble and get the job done. they provide focused light, and because the lampshade is completely enclosed, do not provide any diffused light upwards. just something to keep in mind--they make great task lights.

Nice lamp
Lamp looks good, operates easily, and because of the clamp that holds it to the desk or surface, it doesn't lift off the surface when moving the head around.
The only con is the on/off switch is on the power cord (about a foot from the lamp), instead of on the lamp itself.
