Top-Shelf Storage Inspiration

September 30, 2016

How lifestyle blogger Bri Emery of DesignLoveFest put empty walls to work in her bright, white office.

For the second part in our decorating series with Bri Emery, founder of lifestyle blog DesignLoveFest, we’re sharing how she relied on our shelves to create open storage in her office. As you’ll see here, Bri and her team believe that practical pieces of furniture can indeed be pretty, too. Read on to learn why they choose the shelves they did and how the team keeps them organized day in and day out.

“One of our favorite parts of our new studio is the fact that we have a full kitchen! We produce a ton of recipe posts, so being able to have all of our props in one place is awesome but also requires a lot of organization.”

“We forced ourselves to stay on top of things by having open shelving, which requires putting things back in their proper place to keep them looking pretty. These marble wall-mounted shelves with metal brackets were the perfect addition to our space. Our space has really high ceilings, so we hung our shelves at varied heights to help fill the open area.”

“We have tons of pretty props around the studio so we used the stairway wall-mounted bookcase to show them off. These shelves are great on their own, but it would also be cool to have two or three in a row if you had the space.”
