perfect size
I love how this is tall, skinny, and stylish. It fits perfectly in small spaces. Love the look - with the felt. Wood is a little thinner than I was expecting - but functions well. My only problem is my cats have decided this is a perfect scratching post, and have destroyed mine. :( My fiancees still looks great though.
Would love to see this exact shape in a more shiny (scratch resistant) finish.

Great Looking Hamper
I initially purchased this hamper about 9 months ago and loved it. However, recently I had an issue similar to another reviewer where the felt lining was separating from the solid surface beneath. The result was that the lid was no longer opening properly and would fall back behind the hamper when open. It wasn't horrible and I could have lived with it but for the price paid I didn't feel like I should have to. I contacted CB2 about the issue and they sent me a new one right away. I am so pleased with their service and just hope this one doesn't develop the same issue.

Simple, Elegant, Expensive
I bought this hamper because it's the perfect color and scale for my bedroom. I was concerned about other reviews referencing poor quality, but so far I am happy with the look and quality of the hamper. It is rather pricey though...

Fantastic Purchase
I absolutely LOVE our felt hamper! We haven't had any issues with the clothes not getting enough ventilation (we typically do laundry once a week). Every once in awhile the snaps do unbutton if I'm stuffing something like bedsheets in... however typically this doesn't really change the way I feel about the hamper. It only happens once in a long while and I don't feel that it has anything to do with "poor quality" like some of the other reviews said, but rather just how I use it! Another great note to make about this product is that it doesn't collect dog hair! I was worried about this as we have a great dane with white hair... but no problems there!! Also, we've had this product for over 5 months and it still looks brand new! Fantastic purchase! Can't wait for the next! Thanks CB2!

ventilation
great for use with dry clothes. when used with wet clothes, however, it quickly becomes warped and unsanitary.

Over a year later, still looking like new.
I purchased this hamper a bit over a year ago, just because i needed something modern in a dark charcoal colour to not only hide my laundry, but also to match the FLOR charcoal tiles on the bathroom floor. So this hamper was an exact match to the tiles.
I'm not sure whether mine came from a different batch, but a year later it still looks like the first day (I just went to double check the corners, lining, snaps, etc), It is all like it should be. I must admit though, that I don't use it very often, and that is because the snaps do not hold the inside bag when the bag is heavy (with the normal laundry load that fits in this bag). Hence the four starts and ntot five. That is really annoying. But quality-wise, I can't complain. Plus the hamper looks really modern and edgy in my bathroom.

great hamper
I bought this hamper without seeing it prior in a store and was very pleased with the actual product. The construction is worth the price with little details such as snap out liner and nicely closing lid. I love this hamper and it's made such a difference in my world of messy laundry by keeping the mess hidden and nice looking.

Beautiful but poor quality
My apartment is tiny and I needed an attractive hamper that would look fine if guests are over-- After much debating I FINALLY decided to fork out 90 dollars for a hamper (a lot of money for a teacher!). After TWO DAYS the lining started ungluing!! I'm thinking I'll take a glue gun and fix it but, COME ON CB2!!! I am so disappointed, I've bought many things at CB2 and never expected this. I should have read the reviews first.

Handsome product, quality lacking.
This hamper is about as stylish as they get. The felt fabric is especially awesome. Having said that, the snaps on the drawstring bag don't all align with the snaps on the hamper, so the bag isn't held up. While this wasn't a big deal, since 4 of the 6 snaps did align, the snaps soon broke off the bag. Too bad that the poor quality of the drawstring bag makes the whole purchase not worth it.

love the felt hampers!
I purchased 3 felt hampers and i love them-- 1 for colored clothes, 1 for white clothes, and 1 for clothes that go to the cleaners. the removable snap-out bags make taking the laundry to my laundry room super light-weight, instead of hauling my old hampers down 2 flights of stairs. the hampers are so modern and stylish that they blend right in with my decor-- no one realizes that they are actually hampers!

Love it, but my wallet doesn't.
I had to buy this hamper because it was the best looking solution to those terrible plastic bins I'd been using for so many years. I still keep it in the closet, but I don't have to feel bad about leaving it out. It's sturdy and feels like it will last forever. The bag inside holds up well, but if you overfill it, the buttons will un-snap inside. Overall, its the best hamper I've seen. I just with it wasn't so expensive! A $50 price point seems more reasonable. If you are on the fence about this one, just wait until it goes on sale.

Awesome Modern Hamper
After searching all over for a smart looking modern hamper, I came across this item. Its sleek and well made and goes great with a modern decor. I highly recommend this product.

Stylish but poor quality
I had the previous one that was the same thing but in a different color/fabric. After 6 months of use, the glue that holds it together started coming apart and the lid started to sag. What we thought was stitching holding the fabric to the cardboard frame was just for show.
Upon inspecting the two on display in the store, they exhibited the same defective glue. You could literally peel the fabric off the cardboard with minimal force.
The customer service was good however - they let me return it.

Handsome, Tailored, Masculine
Love this hamper! it holds quite a bit of laundry, so I've used the bottom 12" for storage (shoe boxes, clothing steamer :), etc). It is a beautiful? addition to my small NY apartment, and although not inexpensive, it is absolutely worth the price in quality of construction and durability. Great purchase!

Mess Contained
Living on the go can cause piles of clothing to be found on the floor upon arriving at home after I get off work. This box not only has helped our apartment to stay tidy, but it's soft, nice to look at and a beautiful charcoal gray. Very happy with this purchase.

Very nice hamper
This hamper is great. It has a nice and subtle appearance. Craftsmanship is superb, and the design is just great overall. Mine has been great for the past 4 months or so and is showing no signs of wear or tear, should be good for many years.

great style but poor finish
This hamper is very stylish and the perfect size for a smaller room. However, the fabric is not finished well on the corners, and mine arrived with frayed out corners (the fabric was cut down instead of turned under). I used fray-check to fix them, but you can still see the fraying... not what you'd expect for the price or the usual quality of CB2 items. After about a month, the lid started to sag/detach along the bag of the hamper, which is another sign of poor construction/finish in regards to the fabric.

Great if unable to hind your hamper
I live in a studio apt in NYC, so wanted something that could be out in view. I love this hamper! It looks great with my contemporary decor without drawing too much attention. It does hold more than you expect. I personally haven't had any trouble with the snaps not holding, but I don't slam dunk my clothes in there after reading I might. Great find!
