I love these glasses, they look so much more expensive than they really are. Don't worry about the fact they are thin - they are no different than any other glass. Great product.

Great Barware Set
This barware set seems very delicate but they hold up well. While the glass is thin, they don't break as easy as I had thought they might. They are lightweight and have the perfect modern look I was searching for.

surprisingly sturdy
We recieved these glasses as a wedding gift over six months ago. When we unwrapped them and saw how thin they are, we assumed that we would probably be going through them pretty quickly but figured they're pretty inexpensive so we could easily replace them. I don't think we've broken one in six months! My husband is kinda hard on glasses, he's broken almost all of our stemless wine glasses from a set we bought a few years ago. He's even dropped the Marta glasses on the floor and not broken them!
It makes me wonder if there's something else mixed in with the glass, like plastic?
Out of the two sets that shipped one was scratched and I think maybe one had a chip in the rim. The rest have held up beautifully. They're much sturdier than other glasses we have that are made with thicker glass!

Great Value Barware
Tell me, where else could you get this great looking of barware at this price?? I took a chance after reading other reviews and ordered 2 sets. Looking forward to serving Sangria & beer at my next party in them. Yeah, they are thin & it's possible they may not all survive - but my guests & I are 'house- broken' and are usually quite civilized. :) I don't plan to use them as everyday glasses but know I'll receive many compliments on them from guests when I do...and I love to entertain!

Paper Thin
These glasses are paper thin. I dare not allow my kids to drink out of them and I am skeptical they will make it through one cycle of the dishwasher w/out breaking. I now no why they are so cheap. It will cost as much in shipping to return these as the two sets we bought cost.

Marvelous Marta!
Inspired by what other reviewers had to say, we decided to take a chance on these elegantly simple glasses. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the care taken in shipping - not by the carrier (for which we received a dented and partially opened box) but by CB2, who had expertly wrapped the glasses in anticipation for a bumpy ride. Not one was chipped or broken - marvelous! I have to admit that our first thought was, "Uh oh...these are never going to get past the first week!" as they seemed so incredibly fragile - but we have been pleasantly surprised. I knocked one over onto its side (on a tile countertop) and it survived - amazingly marvelous. They've been through two or three cycles now in our old dishwasher and sparkle like the day when they arrived - truly marvelous. And, best of all - they look and feel absolutely marvelous in the hand. We love Marta - highly recommend - don't be afraid of "micro-thin"!

Just as good as everyone says
I thought about these for a year before finally purchasing. I regret waiting! These are fantastic. The large capacity holds more than a pint. They arrived in perfect condition and - unexpected bonus - my cat had a blast with the cool, brown, mesh-like wrapping material (not to mention the box, obvs).

Best glasses for minimalists
We were worried that they might be too thin and too fragile before buying them, but we agreed it was worth trying for the low prices and nice look. I got 6 and so far I only broke one. That was because I didn't even see it sitting on the top shelve of the dishwasher and I broke it by bagging it with another heavy duty mug. Love them. So thin, so easy to use.

Perfect Glassware
I have admired these glasses for some time now, seeing them at client's and friend's homes. I decided to add some to my personal collection.
The order arrived in perfect condiion, so carefully wrapped and packed. Off came the tags, into the diswasher they went and then on to the shelf.
The size and shapes are just right and the oh-so thin glass is elegant and looks great in the hand or on the table.

Great glasses. Bad shipping.
I have a set of the small tumblers and wanted more. The glasses are great and hold up to a lot of use despite how thin they are.
CB2 wraps these pretty well but I did receive two glasses that were chipped. They are so inexpensive that it's not worth my time to return the 2 bad ones. Be mindful of this when you unwrap and expect that there is a high likelihood that at least one will be damaged.
5 stars for the product. 2 stars for the shipping.

Glasses I look forward to using!
I bought this set because I wanted to try a few of each size before I decided whether to buy more or not. We received them within just a few days and I've used them every day now for two weeks. They are perfectly clear, very light, and a pleasure to drink from (I know, that sounds weird, but they really are!). I am glad I have both sizes. They are the perfect mixed drink glass. They are very stable and fit nicely in my dishwasher rack. They've all been washed many times and we haven't broken any. I don't let my kids use them though because they have a tendency to set glasses down pretty firmly. These are extremely thin. For adults, though, they can't be beat. I also have not run ice directly into them from the refrigerator ice dispenser. They might survive it, but I'm not taking any chances. I just can't emphasis enough though how nice it is to drink out of these. Honestly, drinks taste better out of them!

Fantastic for the price!
These glasses are so simple and beautiful. They are extremely thin but very strong. I ordered one to try and liked it so much I threw out all my old glasses and bought 8 in each size...really great product...the company should make wine glasses too!!!!

elegant glassware for every day
I absolutely love these glasses. They're exceptionally well made and elegant looking and you just can't beat the price. They hold a surprising amount of liquid and everything looks better in them...especially with a little ice. I've even contemplated getting rid of the wine glasses gathering dust in the cupboard in favor of these. The thin profile and excellent clarity make them a a fantastic choice for coctails and wine in a casual setting.

Elegant, Luxurious Glassware
My husband and I first "experienced" these fabulous glasses while having a meal in a Manhattan restaurant. The glasses were so crystal clear and thin that I assumed them to be super-expensive barware-- like the established, prestige/premium brands of imported wine glasses etc. We drank water from the tall ones and wine in the short ones.
I begged an employee of the dining establishment to tell me where they were from---because I had to have them! He kindly obliged this enthusiastic lady and disclosed that they were from ....CB2.com! Immediately after the meal, I looked online at the CB2.com website and recognized the sleek, sophisticated glasses as the MARTA collection. I placed my order ---a real bargain purchase---and happily anticipated the glasses. Within days the package arrived!
Even the packaging--and I am not exaggerating---was as beautiful as the glasses! Not only is it made from "green" recyclables but the outer paper looks like some kind of unique, artistic, origami/crafts paper. I am saving it to use as gift wrapping paper!
The MARTA glasses are living up to our first exposure to them in the restaurant. They grace our home and feel wonderful to use for all of our drinks--whether water, juice, wine or liquor! They are a gracious addition when we are entertaining friends at home. It is hard to believe that such delicate, thin glasses can be and have been washed in the dishwasher and are sturdy as any other glasses despite their being "micro thin"! A great purchase that has lived up to --and surpassed our expectations. We plan to give these MARTA glass sets as a gifts in the future. Simply put---they look and feel like a million
bucks :) !

Very minimal and very useful...
I love using these but you have to be super careful with them. The glass is very thin and I've broken a few, but they're so cheap that I don't mind too much.
