Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great pop of color At first I was concerned that the lamp shade would be too large, but I think it's perfect. It's great for reading. If I have guests, I might remove one bulb so that it's not so concentrated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome piece! Definitely a statement piece, but have gotten a ton of compliments. Make sure to assess how much space you have before buying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super cool lamp A bit heavy and cumbersome but overall easy to put together. This thing is really cool, makes a statement in a room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple & Sleek The lamp is the statement piece providing a bold highlight of color in my bedroom with stark white accents and mahogany finishes. Not only is it stylish but highly functional, providing a very soft light which illuminates the whole room on its own! Assembly is required, but it was truly minimal and instructions were easy to follow. Love this lamp!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Practically beautiful I love this lamp. It is modern and very pretty, not to mention very practical. I can easily tilt the light when needed, and I love the convenience of the foot on/off switch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lamp but the shade is deep orange, not red This is a great lamp, and despite previous reviews about difficulty putting it together, it couldn't be easier. One problem is that it says the shade is red, but it's really orange. Also, when you're sitting down you can see the entre underside with light bulbs visible and not as with other lamp shades. The metal arm is really big, so make sure you have enough room to accommodate. Having said all that, it's a very cool, unique lamp that really makes a statement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RED LIGHT, RIGHT LIGHT Just what i was looking for to add a modern light, with a striking look, to my living room. Perfect to go over the couch, to add that extra touch to read or create and atmosphere. The red being my favorite color, hit me as a great decorative element to add a bit of pizazz.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let There Be Light I have a charcoal colored couch with one end being a lounge. I bought this lamp to hang somewhat over the lounge section of the couch for when I want to read. It gives wonderful lighting and the lamps shade can be tilted to adjust where you want the light to hit. The lamp looked bigger in my apartment than I thought it was when I saw it in the store. But after getting over my initial surprise of its size, I love how modern it looks and its size actually makes it unique and fun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Much Fun! My atomic lobster is a great conversation piece. It is versatile in that you can bend the saucer piece up or down to customize how much light you need. Do be aware that the red paint chips easily so you have to be careful not to bang it against anything when moving it. Also, it's heavy to move unless you lift it up off the floor (don't drag it). My favorite feature that makes it totally unique and fun is that it bounces slightly when my son plays his music. It's a dancing lamp!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great! A little bright I love this lamp, and am keeping it. I gave it 3 stars only because it is difficult to position right to not be blinded by the bulbs. I might like it better if it had some kind of screen underneath to hide the bulbs/shield you from their brightness. So that in mind, I still am keeping it because it is the perfect floor lamp for my mid-century modern den.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color! We brought our atomic lobster arc lamp from Maine to our new home in Florida where it looks great with all of our classic Herman Miller pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous This lamp is gorgeous! Everyone who walks into the room has something complimentary to say. The box is a bit cumbersome to move around but once home it was easy to assemble and is pretty well made.My only criticism is that because of the shape of the stand and base, it is a bit tricky to put a table under it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solution for a drawback mentioned in other reviews Hi. The lamp is sturdy, well-constructed, and a functional work of art. Other reviewers have commented on the uncomfortable brightness of the lightbulbs when sitting belowthe lamp or across from it just under eye level. I experimented with various bulbs, and I found that if I use flood light bulbs, it removes it solves the issue.
