Love it !
I drag everyone in to see this lamp. I'm hopeless when it comes to putting things together, but this was a piece of cake (as long as you have someone holding the lamp still while you place the 3 screws appropriately. A great product !

Very unique lamp
Guests always comment on this lamp when they see it for the first time. They are usually not even sure what it is at first. So even if it stops working it still looks great and will get you compliments.
The only major issue with it is that the light coming from it is not diffused, and quite strong. It can be unpleasant if the actual light source is in your field of view, and not behind, or above you for example.
On most other lamps I have this is not an issue because they have some kind of diffuser.

Personality Plus!
I work for a Real Estate Developer and was asked to update a model at one of their student housing communities. I used CB2 for every room. This model has small bedrooms and my goal was to make each bedroom look brighter and larger. I used this lamp in one of the rooms and it's almost like a piece of artwork! It gave the room personality plus! Several interested students who toured asked where the lamp came from. I now have a framed flyer in each room listing every item and where they can buy it. My flyer heading is Decorate Your Room Like A Professional.. .. On A Budget! What is so great about this lamp and all of the other items I purchased from CB2 is that it's unique, stylish & NOT expensive! Let me also add that I was very impressed with the online chat service I received when I was browsing and ordering from your site. I will absolutely use CB2 for future remodels as well as for my own home.

Great statement piece!
This lamp gets a lot of "oh wows" from the people who visit. Its great because it has a lot of presence but does not take a lot of space. This works great in a neutral room with a few bright accents

Luv the sleek look but it sat lower than I expected. It now sits on a wooden cube & I am working on getting less glare when the lite is on.

Atomic Indeed
This lamp is a conversation piece. The lines are curved, therefore, giving a softness to an otherwise modern design. The only issue is that it it is a little low and wide, and one can bump into the lamp cover at times. Also, with two light bulbs, it would be nice if there could be a control to adjust the lighting intensity. With two bulbs it can be too intense over a sofa or when reading, especially when it sits so low.

Great design - But
The overall appearance and color of the floor lamp is great but there's one design flaw.. With no diffuser over the bulbs, the light shines into the eyes of anyone seated across the room..

Big and striking lamp
This lamp is bigger than I thought it would be, but it is very striking and beautiful. Great color. Nice light. Came without hardware, which is a drag....

A Fab modern light
Came well packaged. Looks exactly like the picture in the catalog and is a great colour. Lots of compliments!
Gives a good light to read in. Base quite heavy, but easy to put together with my 9 year old helping me.

Statement Lamp
I love this lamp. It definitely makes a statement in the room and is far more interesting than regular arc lamps. It assembled with no problems. The one thing I wish it had was some sort of screen to diffuse the light a little because if you are sitting 'under' it or facing it from across the room and are a bit lower than it, you somewhat face the lightbulbs directly, which can be glaring. But otherwise, its just gorgeous.

Love This!
It was extremely easy to put together, it took me about 5 minutes. I love the modern touch it adds to our living room and the color is fantastic. If I could find a place for another I'd get more!

Atomic Arc Lamp
This is one sexy lamp from outer space! It's large shade, bright pop of color and unusually contoured arm & base make a real 'wow' statement, which is what everyone says when they walk into my living room. It comes packaged in a huge box so be prepared but thankfully there is no styrofoam, hooray! Put it together by myself in about 10 minutes ... 3 pieces, 3 screws and voila!

Great, but I just wish...
The look and reading function of this lamp is a great addition to our living room. It had excellent packaging, and I found the assembly technical but doable by myself. However, a couple of complaints. I really wish it had a switch on the lamp itself, so we wouldn't have to get up and turn it off with the floor switch - arggh. Also, it would be so improved with a dimmer because it is very bright and irritating to another person sitting in the room who is not the one using the lamp. If the shade rotated 360 degrees, it could be cocked slightly to shield the two bulbs or redirect light. I also inadvertently dented the chrome base slightly when I was cleaning near it, so it is a little flimsy under pressure. That said, it's a very cool lamp which could benefit greatly from these improvements, and I would actually pay a little more for them.

Beautiful lamp
Great lamp, very heavy and not difficult to assembly at all. It took me 15 minutes to unpack it and put it together.

Beautiful, looks like a work of art, but...
I have been looking forward to having this lamp in my home since the day I first saw it. However, within 5 minutes of opening the box, I was sorry I purchased it. While the components are high quality, assembly is a nightmare. Do not attempt to put these 3 pieces together on your own! The base and shade are very heavy and it is almost impossible to line up the 2 holes on the base and chrome tube so you can secure it to the base. There is also the issue of the shade, it cannot be secured to the tube unless you somehow manage to snake the excess power cord back through the "exagerated" contour. I found it impossible to do. And then there is the packaging! Excessive packing material makes unpacking very labor intensive. It may sound like baseless complaining here, but if I could, I would return this to CB2 immediately. I purchased it on line, and the packaging mess makes that impossible at this point. There should be a warning with this product, no matter how simple and clean the design is, assembling it for use is very labor intensive. I am so irritated by this, I may just throw it out. I love CB2, but this was an expensive dissapointment.
