First, this bed looks great, so if you're thinking about getting it, do. Be prepared though for the EPA to show up when you try to get rid of all the packing materials!

Beautiful
Well packaged for delivery. Finish is gloss white and very clean. No problems with sliding mattress or lost pillows , have 14" mattress.

great kid's bed
I bought this for my daughter. It's sturdy and wonderful and she sticks magnets on it. I think it will be around for the long haul. It's a good shape and draping something over the back or even slipcovering it will change the look.

great bed!
I love this bed and its simple, sturdy design. If what you are looking for is simplicity and modernity, this is your bed! Seriously, don't pass it up. Great design, and well built.
Really my only criticism are quite minor: (1.) The mattress can tend to slide a bit around; (2.) And the white paint can nick up a bit.

Modern dream bedroom

Great design but one big issue
The bed is a great design. The lines and finish fit perfectly in to the look we wanted.
The slats are awful. The bed is steel and very solid but the slats far to weak for the bed. I will have to go to additional expense to design something that works. If you are a tiny person you will never notice this but an adult male will.

Nice Bed
I like the bed. It's very modern in its design but I would like to bring two comments: 1) The bed is extremely low and it's very difficult to clean underneath. 2) the board where to rest the back does not go all the way down and if yo don't purchase a very high mattress the pillows fall behind the bed. You are limited in the mattress choices for this reason.

Great Bed
We bought this bed in the fall, and it has been fabulous - it was fairly easy for my husband to put together. It is comfortable for sleeping, and for sitting and reading propped on pillows. The area at the top has enough room for our clock, and lamps plus a book or two.

Great Modern Bed
Bought this bed when looking for a modern white bed. It is very well made and very comfortable. I use it in my master bedroom, but would be a great bed for any room. It is a heavy steel and a quality product. I love it!

The bed still has problems with not having the supports being entirely covered with the mattress, but a 12 inch mattress is definitely enough. I have perhaps a two inch gap between the mattress and the headboard with my 12-inch memory foam mattress and it is certainly not big enough for pillows to slip through. It is definitely helpful to have two people available for setup and there is approximately a metric ton of styrofoam to be disposed of.

the frame was very easy to put together! i've only had it for a week or so, but i love it, and my cat loves the shelf on the top!

Sleek and Modern
Love this metal bed - the perfect neutral piece to design a master bedroom around. We bought one in King size a month ago and have been pleased. Comfy. Low (very low but I wanted that). Perfect for our family with young kids -- they can get on and off easily. We have a thicker Simmons mattress and there is still a small gap near the headboard, but this hasn't been an issue for us. Also, mattress fits fine on frame.

LOVE it!
This bed is well made and a great value. It was very simple to put together and I was impressed with the quality of materials.
It is the perfect height for a fresh contemporary look and the convenient ledge on the headboard was exactly what we needed with doors on either side of our bed.

Nice design, but not perfect
Here's what I like about this bed: it's beautiful to look at and the wide headboard meant i didn't need side tables which worked out perfectly in my studio apt.
What i didn't like: it's very difficult to put together! And if your mattress isn't tall enough the pillows will slip through the hole under the headboard.

weird design
I have the spoke bed and the alpine bed. The alpine bed is low to the ground which I wanted but the design is just stupid. There is a HUGE gap so pillows fall into it onto the floor and get stuck and while you sleep you end up with no pillow. Its very uncomfortable to sit back on as well because of the gap. I guess that is what I get for shopping online. We will be unloading it on craigslist. Wish they'd bring back the sova bed already. The spoke bed has a weird gap too which makes pillows fall down but at least they don't land on the ground.

good bed
The bed looks great and I live the storage space on the back. And it was easy to put together. Two complaints, though. 1) The mattress does not fill the entire frame. 2) You have to tighten the bolts every few months or you get a lot of creaking sounds echoing around in the headboard when time you move.

Clean modern and solid
This is a great bed for anyone who loves a clean, neutral look. There is room on the top to put a small lamp. And the bed is heavy, solid and feels good quality.

Sleek and comfortable

Love with a few caveats
I am very happy with this bed and highly recommend it. The pictures on the website are true to what it actually looks like, but there are a couple caveats. 1. I have a queen matress and on the sides and foot of the bed (I ordered a queen frame) the underneath support slats show, in other words the frame is a bit large. I have fluffy down bedding that covers these gaps for the most part but it's something to note. 2. It sits a little lower to the ground than I expected, there is no fitting anything under there.
