silk road. Handwoven of silk sari remnants salvaged from textile mills in the Bangalore region of southern India, each of these dhurrie rugs has an inner energy and luminescence that light up the room. Through an intricate, multi-step process that can take up to 20 artisans one week to complete, fabric is selected by color, sorted and handspun on a traditional punja loom. Woven with the rich texture and sheen of silk, tonal blues align with variegated shades of green and yellow in a palette and pattern unique to each rug.

How will it look in your room? 12"x12" rug samples are available in stores for a fee refundable upon return of the sample.

handwoven recycled sari blue runner 2.5x8 is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice to look at, but that's it This rug is beautiful, but it is not colorfast. It turns our socks blue when we walk on it - which we are doing more of now with our newborn. It also fades when you spot clean it, so we have a few light blue patches on the rug now. It's such a disappointment. CB2 should include this info in the rug description so you know what you're getting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gorgeous shade of blue, but not color-fast at all The colors in the rug are gorgeous and vibrant, and remind me of tropical ocean water. But spot cleaning the rug is impossible without the color coming out. Last night I tried to clean a small stain with some water and soap, and blotting with a clean towel. So much deep blue and green dye transferred onto the towel, I was afraid the spot I cleaned would look terrible when the rug dried. Sure enough, this morning there's a noticeably faded patch. I'm going to try hiding it under a piece of furniture, but it's disappointing that this rug could not stand up to a little bit of soap and water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT! That's the word that describes this rug and its appearance... The live that prints into our living room is amazing... It's so elegant at the same time... We have two westies and they're also crazy about the rug and love to play on it. We are super happy with our purchase! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the rug but colors not quite right This is a gorgeous rug, well priced. I think the photo makes the green tones look more prominent than they are and the rug ---which is very vibrant--did not look good against my more muted green walls. A shame because I love blue and green. Next time I will order a sample so I won't have to lug the return box to the Post Office!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color in picture does not match I love the vibrant color, but it is greener than the picture shows. Rug is not smooth as its silk fabric would suggest, but rather as rough as sandpaper and definitely not barefoot friendly..
