I have it and get so many compliments! (Not that this one isn't ok, but black/white with the neon colors made the piece so unique)

One of the most beautiful, artistic things ever.t.
This beautiful wall hanging brings rave reviews from all my guests. I bought 2 more, kicking myself for not doing so when buying only 1 of your last, similar edition.
(It took HOURS to create!) As an artist, I think CB2 excels at unique, well- designed and priced products.

Looks Awesome
I love this piece, we painted our walls a charcoal grey and this really pops on our wall. The beautiful neutrals are very modern and zen. I had no problem with smell. It hangs well on the wall, easy to put up. Very pleased with this item.

Beautiful piece, but I can't shake the smell of it. The colors in the center are natural with hints of teal and orange. Fits perfect in my studio but If it doesnt lose some of its odor its going back...has anyone had any luck getting it out?

Almost Perfect
This piece looks exactly as pictured and is really quite cool -- love the story of its origin. The reason for the low rating is the pungent and persistent offensive aroma. After a month of airing it out on the back deck and multiple attempts at alternating vinegar and baking soda treatments, the piece is still to "aromatic" to bring inside. :( I'm still hopeful though!

Super looking. Super bad smelling.
I recently purchased this wall hanging because I thought it looked very unique and would fit in well with my living room decor. I was not disappointed when it arrived. It's quite beautiful and is a great addition behind my couch. The only problem is the strong smell it omits. Other reviewers have said it's like turpentine, but i'm not sure if that's exactly it. Whatever it is, it gives me a headache while sitting on the couch with it behind me.
I spoke with customer service and they're going to find out more from quality control. They did assure me that every item does pass California state quality control standards. I'll update when I hear back.
If it wasn't for the smell, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Just right!
Last year, I bought a similar item (made from newspaper) with the intension of using it in my bedroom. I like it but the coloring was off so I put it in another room. When I saw this one, I knew it would work! I had just ordered the space vases and a new duvet and the colors worked together. It is exactly as shown...the "white" edging is a soft variegated white with shades of grays/off white and the center square is many different earthy colors, some with subtle patterns. As a previous post mentions, there is a smell to it when first opened. It disappeared for me within two days. Took off one point for the smell. Looks great hanging over my bed!

disappointing
i've owned this beautiful piece of art for over two weeks but can't bring it into the house as the paint, "turpentine" smell is still hanging on!
