overview

popup café. Flip-top table does impromptu drinks on the patio, then stores out of sight. Adding industrial interest, stainless steel weather-resistant top with tactile micro-textured surface unlocks to flip down out of the way, or back up on a drink's notice (and speaking of drinks, levelers on each leg adjust to right uneven patio and ground surfaces). Table stands sturdy on polished stainless steel base and pole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not your Thanksgiving "kids table"... We hunted a long time for a small, folding table to replace the wobbly, black card table that appeared two years ago at Thanksgiving and then somehow set up permanent camp in our living room. We had been stuck eating at "the kids table" in our grown-up apartment for far too long I woke up one morning and somehow just knew I had to check CB2. Little did we know they'd have a table that was more perfect than the ones we had started to sketch with aspirations of building our own. It is modern and compact yet also very solid-looking and sturdy, especially in comparison to the entire Parisian block of bistro tables that we have browsed over the years. We were also happy that the "blue feet" noted in one review was really just the removable protective plastic. The only negative would be that the top shows a lot of greasy-looking smudges no matter how much we clean it (new product line, CB2?). Thank you to CB2 for its telepathic advertising that led me to the Bistro Table and for transporting us from turkey dinner to a sophisticated and cozy bistro cafe. I feel like a big kid now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from exceptional value and appeal Bought last spring, this is the perfect complement to my outdoor setting. It has past the test to time outdoors in extreme heat under a covered patio and takes minimal effort to wipe clean.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite 90 degrees I bought this table last summer for my balcony and no matter what surface it is on, the top is not quite 90 degrees to it's base. I have tried readjusting the feet but I've never gotten it quite right. I still love the table, and it is super easy to clean off after being left outside for a very long time and gathering all kinds of dust and dirt from the nearby highway. It also survived an unusual amount of snow this winter. (I intended to bring it in for the winter but that just never happened.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Table Since I have a very small patio space, the bistro table provides ample space for two. So much patio furniture is clunky and looks just plain bad but this table is sleek and contemporary. Paired with some CB2 Rex Chairs I previously purchased, it's definitely not a run-of-the-mill look.My only complaint is that the four legs cannot fold up like the table top folds down. You can't store the table flush to a wall because of the table legs. But that's a minor inconvenience. It's still a great table for its size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks great; poor quality control After assembly we noticed that both the base and the table had a dent. I called CB2 and they sent a replacement. The second one arrived in a box that had previously been open but we put it together anyway. The top of this table was perfectly round, but the side had a part where the design imprint of the table was missing. We decided that was better than the dent and proceeded. There was also a black scratch in the base where the metal showed through the shiny finish. In the final step, you need to screw on the feet and we discovered that one of them couldn't screw in all the way because there was a metal piece wedged into the hole that couldn't be dislodged. It makes the table uneven/wobbly. So now we have two defective tables and trying to figure out if there is a way to salvage one table with the pieces from two. Either way something is going to be imperfect and at least one is going back. The table looks stylish and works well in a small space. Unfortunately, having received two defective tables doesn't bode well for quality control. AND annoying to assemble/disassemble to return!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice table - easy to assemble Nice looking bistro table - assembles in about 10 minutes. The blue colored feet add a nice little design touch. The only complaint I have is there is some slight discoloration on the silver tabletop but it's pretty subtle. The ability to fold it up is also super useful.
