Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sleek but not ergonomic I have a small office space and the Helix desk, and was looking for something minimalist and low-profile, which proved to be surprisingly difficult. This chair is visually appealing and was easy to assemble, but hardly ergonomic. The description dimensions do not include details on the seat. Contrary to the photos, the chair back is significantly shorter than the seat is long. I'm 5'7" with long femurs, yet I can't comfortably sit with my back against the chair back without the seat edge cutting into the backs of my knees. A lumbar pillow might fix this, but I was hoping for a minimalist look. I decided to keep the chair rather than go through the hassle and expense of returning. I've never seen a chair where the back was shorter than the seat length, but the screw holes were on the long plane, so I guess it's just a design flaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish, comfy chair I have a long list of needs for my home office, but started with the chair, which I spend about four hours in each day. I love it. It's comfortable, adjustable, and super good-looking. Its only drawback? It's way nicer than my desk, which is next up for replacement. But I will have to place my derriere in this beautiful chair and do some more work to earn the next new piece for my office!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the chair except for the crack This is a great chair but I unfortunately had a crack in the seat develop as well. It looks like the screws that attach the base where tightened too much and caused the wood to split. Everything else is great though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great chair! Unfortunately cracking I love the look and feel of this chair. I wanted a minimalist design and something that was adjustable at my desk. I also think it's really comfortable for sitting and typing, as I prefer no cushioning for sitting at my desk. It was very easy to assemble, and the rollers work great across my hardwood floor. Unfortunately, I had the chair for 2 months when the first crack in the center surface appeared, now another month later and there's another. Not sure what the finish is made out of, but definitely thought it would last longer than just a few months. Wish it was made better!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scoop This Piece Up Before it's Gone GREAT office chair. Seriously considering getting another before it's gone. Easy set up too!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Extremely Uncomfortable This chair looks good, but the design is insanely uncomfortable. The base is too long for most people's legs, cutting off circulation if you sit on it longer than 10 or 15 minutes. With the base being so long it also offers very little back support. I would recommend purchasing the rope chair instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Chair is Great, Packaging Issues I bought this chair on a whim. I was nervous because there were no reviews, and I had never sat on the chair in store, but I thought it would look great with a desk I have from CB2. The chair itself is wonderful. Solid build quality. Real wood. Gas lift works great. It also locks the back if you wish not to bend. Takes 10 minutes to put together. My only complaint is how the chair arrived. The chrome base had a layer of a greenish yellow sticky substance covering most of the service. I'm assuming this is some type of lubricant, but it was literally all over. It took way too much time to wipe it clean, and I was worried I'd ruin the chrome finish the whole time.
