Great Lighting Fixture
I was in the market for a nice dining area lamp/light, and when I saw the firefly pendant lamp at CB2, I immediately said, "that's it, that's the one." It's now hanging beautifully in my dining room. It's a nice welcoming piece to my guests, and at night, I keep the 5 lights dimmed to actually experience the "firefly" effect. I love them.

A touch of elegance!
I had been eyeing this light for awhile. It put the final touch in my dining room. Simply perfect. Assembly was easy and the quality of light is excellent. I don't know why it took me so long to purchase it.

Love Love Love!
I looked at this light for a long time and when I finally had it hanging over my dining table I was thrilled! It's absolutely gorgeous and makes such a statement. I've gotten tons of compliments on it and am so happy that I decided to buy it!

Poor QC for the product
Purchased this item online Dec 2012, received it and found air bubbles in the 4 out of the 5 glass shades. Called customer service and they sent us 4 new ones at no charge at all, the new ones are slightly better in terms of the air bubbles issues but the edges of the shades opening are very rough not smooth at all. After using it for about 2 months, we unscrewed the glass shades from the canopy for cleaning and when we screwed them back the socket ring was broken. So another call to customer service and asked for socket ring, again no charge at all. Got the socket ring and there are no threads on it so we couldn't screw the shades and the bulb tightly back on the canopy. Gave customer service another call and told them the issues, they are going to send out a couple more. Now I am still waiting for them to come. The one star here is for the excellent customer service.
The product itself has very low quality not worth any stars!

Super stylish!!
We have it hanging over our dining room table. It looks very modern and has a slightly industrial look to it. I love it. If you have a large dining area I would recommend two of these just like they're shown hanging side by side in the website.

LOVE this light!
I'm so happy with my purchase! The firefly pendant lamps are so pretty! I've had so many people compliment them! I have them on a dimmer and they give off a cozy modern feel! Great choice!!

Beautiful Modern Light Fixture
After realizing there really was no way I could possibly hang this myself, it sat in my spare bedroom and mocked me everytime I walked by. Mercifully I am having an electrician install it this week. I am dying to know what it looks like in the room. I am a little worried about the brightness of the light after reading other reviews, but I am hopeful it will work out in the space!
In terms of the look overall, it is such a stunning, modern and quite frankly cool fixture. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Love this light!
I've had my eye on this item for quite some time. After moving into my new house it was my first purchase. Installation was a breeze (1 person) and it looks fantastic! It will be an item that goes with me when i sell!

Perfect Addition to our Dining Room!
We got two of the pendents to hang over our dining room table. It is the perfect addition to the room, statement worthy without being too loud. Would definitely recommend!

so pretty, but a bit hard to clean
we placed this pendant lamp on top of our bar table to create a bar like dining area. Many reviews mentioned that it couldn't provide enough light; however, it works perfectly for us just for dining purposes. we are happy with the romantic atmosphere it gives!

Fantastic lighting fixture
After seeing the Firefly light at a CB2 store, we ordered this online and it shipped within days. Very easy to install and looks amazing over our dining room table, putting off an industrial chic vibe.

Makes a room
Got mine in the mail and was happy immediately! I have a really open space for my living dining room and kitchen so this was a great central piece that make the room. The only surprise was just how big the gloves were but they still work!

Gorgeous Addition
This light looks amazing in our dining room. Easy to install, and no issues yet. I wish it accommodated a higher-watt bulb, but worth the sacrifice!

I finally own this!
This is another one of those amazing statement pieces from CB2 that I have wanted for over two years. I finally got to buy it when I replaced my living room furniture. My husband and I put it up in our condo two days ago. It is absolutely stunning, and very well made. I cannot believe that this lamp was only 200!! It is worth so much more. This is by far my favorite thing in my house. Beware that you need specialized light bulbs for it. I went to a few different targets to find the right ones.

Behind every great man there's a Firefly
I am not a tall man. I am not a handsome man. My wit does not dazzle, my I.Q. does not intimidate. And yet, I am wildly popular. My secret to social success? The Firefly pendant lamp from CB2. The asymmetry of the pendant lengths, the retro-70s vibe of the glass globes, the radiant light cast over all who pass beneath it have earned me B.M.I.C. (Big Man In Charleston) status since the Firefly first spread its glorious wings in my dining room two years ago. My love life has never been better.

Definitely worth it
The light is a bit difficult to install if you are installing in older home with not a lot of room to shove the extra inches of cord. Once I battled that dragon, it looks amazing in my dining room.
As others have said, it takes candelabra base bulbs not standard..!!
I think it puts out more than enough light.
If you're on the fence like I was for like a year....buy it if you can. It's worth it.

Longer than you think
As is often the case, the reviews here left me unsure if this product would fit my needs. The luminosity and length from the ceiling were my main concerns, as well as the quality of the product itself. I've had it installed in our dining room for two weeks now, and here are my observations:
1) It's bright enough to fill a 12x14 room with "dinner" light, which to us is dimmer than standard light. You wouldn't want to read or work for very long, but a comfy dinner party, maybe with some add'l candles for ambience, is fine. I did install a dimmer switch, but that was absolutely not necessary. Oh - I'm using the recommended 25 watt g16.5 size bulbs. I'm sure CFLs would make this product bright as day, but in my opinion it would ruin the look. So, in short, it's brighter than mood lighting but dimmer than task lighting or even maybe general lighting.
2) the length from our ceiling is 40" to the base of the lowest-hanging globe. Much longer than I thought, because the dimensions listed on the site say 29". We have vaulted ceilings in this room, so I was worried. I had even already purchased the equipment to lengthen the cables, but I didn't need to.
3) It's not high-quality, but once it's up, nobody will notice and I don't see how that could impact the performance or appearance long-term. Many of the pieces are plastic, for instance. The cables are basic black and still have the info (gauge, other manufacturing info) stamped in white. So if you look closely, even from sitting directly beneath it at the dining table, you can see the text. Seems like they had a 1000' spool of the cable, sliced off the needed amounts, and slapped it in the fixture. An extra step to take off that text would have been nice and is my only real qualm with the fixture.
4) But oh my, does it look nice. Warm and inviting, modern but subtly classic, and just plain fun to have around. It's one of my favorite pieces in the house right now, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
5) Oh, it's very hard to install on your own. But I managed to, so it's possible.
