Spacious and modern
Love this nightstand. Affordable, well made. So far no issues. Seems like it's going to stand the test of time.

Great looking
I bought two of these about a year ago, one for each child. The finish for one is holding up nicely, no discoloration. The other has produced some distinguished markings on the top. It's not bad, but you should know that the metal has the tendency to discolor. The drawers slide nicely and the night stand looks stylish in their room.

Good value, but not a high-end product
The size and price was perfect for our bedroom, so we decided to give it a try. The piece looks good from a distance, so it satisfies my design expectations. Up close, the fit and finish is only average with less brushed "texture" than I expected. The friction drawer doesn't open easily, but it's not the worst I've tried. But for the money, it would be hard to find a better metal nightstand. Three stars not considering price. Four stars for a good value.

Great value for this nightstand!
I bought two of these to go along with a velvet wrapped platform bed. They look great with the existing furniture, including the cherry chest and dresser with pulls that match the nightstands. They have just enough storage space in the drawer and the shelf below. I am very happy with them.

Great low nightsand
Purchased two of these to go on either side of the Dondra bed... exactly the look I wanted. I have gotten a lot of compliments on the style/look of these. My only complaint is that the "finish" on the nightstand is scratched and changes color easily. I have placed a place mat on the top of the nightstand to prevent the finish and add some color.

Perfect fit!
I purchased these for my spare bedroom to go with a dark wood bed/dresser. I love the industrial and fun look it gives the space. All of my guests have commented on how awesome they are!

Awesome valued nightstand
Thought this was the perfect nightstand when I saw it on-line ~ had (2) shipped to my house, then thought "you idiot, you did not check dimensions". They are very well made, super attractive but shorter than what I really needed ..... SO ..... I had my carpenter mount them to the wall so they are now floating on each side. They look awesome.
I also took sev peoples advise & had glass cut for the tops before they arrived. Word to the wise: wait til you actually receive the tops, then measure since my glass is a little too large for the tops. I used the densions given in the descrition. ;-)

Solid build quality and unique finish.
No hassle, the nightstands were already assembled upon arrival. Works perfect with low bedframes. Most impressed by the exterior which looks flawless in smooth metal.

Great for the guest room
I love the look and it is functional for the guest room. Previous reviews question the drawer and its smooth function. Thus far I have not had an issue.
I loved this piece when introduced a few years ago and finally I have been able to get it. Quite happy here!

regret this purchase
About twice a year I have a "3 paycheck month" and my budget is based upon 2 checks a month. With this 3rd paycheck I try to purchase some kind of furnishing for my home. Last year I purchased two of these nightstands and I regret this purchase.
I like the looks of the nightstand and the demensions work well in our bedroom. The drawer and lower shelf are excellent. However, the finish on these are unforgiving. They came with a few blemishes already on them and if you do not use a coaster, you're nightly glass of water will leave rings all over the top that are not removable.
I'm hesistant to try and buff these marks out as the finish on the metal appears to be some kind of application rather than buffed.

Nice nightstand
While I can't say this nightstand will be part of my home forever for now it works great. The height is excellent for a modern, lower sitting bed and the width seems standard and sufficient. The stand was of better construction that I anticipated for the price and the drawer opens and closes with ease. My only complaint and reason for withholding a star rating is that the surface is beginning to patina from mostiure that comes into contact with the stand from normal use and cleaning, i.e.; a bedside glass of water, humidifier mist, mist from cleaning products, etc.. I guess I'll learn to love this "feature" until I find another nightstand to fall in love with.

Beautiflul, functional, but flawed
I love this nightstand, and have used it for the past 5 months. However, there is something wrong with the finish. If you put ANYTHING on it, you will end up with a permanent mark on the surface.
The marks are gray, a few shades darker than the surface. As other reviewers have remarked, there does not appear to be any way to remove them. In fact mild, non-aggressive rubbing seems to make them darker.
I am debating about how to think of this nightstand that I truly love. Is it going to develop a "distressed" surface over time, one I will learn to like? I don't know. If you need to have the metal surface completely unmarred, the way it is when it arrives, you'll have to treat it with more care than a precious wood antique.
I still love the nightstand. It is a wonderful, practical design. You simply need to know the cons associated with it. If CB2 changes the finish that protects the metal, the Proof nightstand will be a 5.

proof nightstand
The drawer does not slide in and out very good. The metailic finish is nice but does not have the look and feel that I expected. I want more quality out of CB2 and expect more quality.

it's nice, but hard to keep clean
I've had this nightstand about 1.5 years. It's a sturdy piece of furniture and looks as pictured. My only issue with it is if you ever spill water or any liquid on it, forget it. I even tried some online remedies for cleaning the metal (vinegar, club soda, etc) with no luck. I too have resorted to covering the top with a bamboo placemat to hide the water marks.

Mistake to buy
I purchased two of these I wish someone had written this review so I wouldn't have bought them.. after less then a year there are these off grey color markings or discoloration of the top surface after a little over a year they turn black specks surrounded by discoloration ...I'm a very clean/organized person so anything spills I wipe off right away and still this.. now I have to find overs for them cuz they just look dirty...what an eye sore...

The finish on this is very bland and uninteresting. It appeared more brushed nickle and it's simply a faux finish, with poor welding points. If it were not so expensive to ship back I would.

Great buy!
Maybe it's because these are the first "real" nightstands my husband and I have had in about five years, but we LOVE them. Great storage space, great space on top, perfect height for our bed (Ikea bed with no boxspring so it's lower), and look great with our bed. Amazing, unique pieces, especially for the price! Seems very well made, as well. Other buyers of this nightstand said they were disappointed because it marked easily, but we haven't experienced that problem, and even if it did, I think it would create a nice "patina" over time.

So nice I bought it twice
I wanted a bedside table that wasn't wood or laminate to add another texture to the bedroom. These fit the bill and were on backorder for awhile but I waited patiently and was rewarded. Ordered a second one right after seeing the first. Not flimsy, simply lines and not shiny - perfect.

Neat and unique
This was the perfect nigh stand for our unique modern tastes. Love the metallic surface. Well made. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the surface seems to mark easily.
