This chair is really nice and although it does have minimal padding it is still very comfortable and I can sit on it for many hours. Just a note for other customers, you CAN indeed remove the armrests. I could not slide it under my desk with the armrests so I had to remove them. All you need is a #4 allen wrench (hex key). Looks really nice and it perfectly matches our dining chairs

Uncomfortable but stylish
If you are planning to buy this chair simply as a display item, go for it. Otherwise, I would stay away.
I think that it is a very stylish chair, but after testing it out for a couple weeks, I decided to ship it back.
I usually like the furniture that I buy from CB2, but this one unfortunately was no good.

nice office chair
Love the design of this chair, after almost a year it still looks great. The minimal look is perfect for my small apartment, it doesn't appear to take up much space. It's firm but comfortable, I wouldn't recommend sitting in this chair all day though. Short sessions are fine.

Beautiful modern chair
I love the overall design of the chair and it looks great in my room. I have not had any trouble with rolling the chair around on my hardwood floors. The chair is fairly comfortable for the design. I use it about 4 hours a day and have never had any issues. It looks absolutely beautiful in my office!

Room For Improvement
First, I am not a CB2 hater. In fact, I like a lot of the CB2 furniture I have purchased. In particular, I have a lot of the "go-cart" stuff and it's great. This chair, however, is a poor quality item. I do not recommend this chair. If you use this chair on carpeting, you constantly will find minor stains all over your carpeting due to the greasy ball bearings that fall out of the casters. Furthermore, the chrome plating on the arms of the chair is poor quality and not durable. The chair looks great, but the quality is disappointing.

Incredible Desk Chair
I'm currently pregnant and work from home, and we bought this desk chair because I finally caved and decided I need an actual desk in our small apartment. The bigger I got, the more my back was killing me working from the couch. This chair has been amazing. Not only does it look modern and chic in our home, but my back problems are gone. It offers a lot of support, even for someone who spends long hours in front of the computer. So glad I took the plunge and purchased without the ability to sit in it and try it out first!

Excellent Value
This office chair is very comfortable, extremely well priced, fits into my traditional bedroom home office, and arrived fast exactly when delivery was stated. It was easy to assemble. I love the fact that it is on wheels and rolls from desk to printer to storage shelves.
i will make at least two more purchases from CB2 furniture when i move to my new abode.

Isn't the Softest Chair
I wanted to like the bubble chair. I liked the chartreuse green version I bought in the store, but two things, if you are a heavier individual you might find the arms putting unpleasant pressure on your hips. The other part I didn't notice is if you sit in the chair for hours, even an hour, your bum might go numb faster than other chairs. There's just not that much give or padding. That said, it's stylish and easy to put together, and I can't deny that someone who's lightier and doesn't plan to sit in the chair for hours probably wouldn't have a problem.

Love this office chair
I bought this chair for my new house home office. It is very modern looking and fits my decor superbly! My husband looked at it and thought it might be uncomfortable, then he sat in it and found out it is very comfortable with such a modern look. I am extremely happy with this chair.

Great Purchase
I actually purchased this chair by phone because I had questions. The attendant was knowledgeable, very helpful, and the transaction was handled efficiently. Instead of shipping, I picked up the chair in Chicago because I had a road trip planned there. The pickup process was outstanding and fast. I use this chair everyday and find it to be very comfortable. I highly recommend this chair and CB2.

a pop of color!
The Bubble (Yellow) Leather Office Chair is a perfect match to our sea foam green computer desk. The perfect pop of color in our otherwise ho-hum office. Other reviews mentioned that the chair was somewhat uncomfortable, but I don't find this to be necessarily true. Perhaps not the chair for you if you plan to spend endless hours in it-- but otherwise, pretty comfy.
The price was definitely right.

Terrible wheels
We bought this to replace a desk chair we've had for years. Our old chair had wheels made of soft plastic and was able to roll around silky smoothly on our hardwood floors. Sadly, the wheels on this chair are much harder and are a pain to move. Within minutes it had left scratches in our floors. Not recommended for use on hardwood floors.

Most uncomfortable chair
i searched for many months for an office chair
that was comfortable for several hours use.
This was not it. I had intense neck and back pain
every day. I loved the look of it,,,and even tried it
out in the store. But, after using it for many weeks,
it had to be returned. No cushioning either,,very
uncomfortable to sit on,

Good buy
I bought the chartreuse version of the bubble office chair. I absolutely love it. The color stands out, it is extremely comfortable (way better than other office chairs I have had previously), and fits well in a modern styled home. The angle of the back of the chair fits perfectly into the small of the back and gives support to avoid fatigue during those long days at the computer. The only complaint I have is the chrome arms are not sanded down perfectly and are slightly rough in some places (not enough to really notice or to catch clothes or anything on); however, I expect this to diminish in time. I can't wait to buy the rest of the CB2 office furniture that I have been wanting! Received the chair quickly (a couple of days faster than promised) and it was packaged very well.

Form and Function - Fabulous!
This chair is perfect! Easy to put together, rolls very nicely, high-end appearing seat combined with shiny chrome. It is also comfortable! I paired it with the blue go-cart desk and file cabinet. It looks fabulous!

Ball bearings falling out
I love the look of this chair, but it's poorly constructed. The ball bearings of the casters fall out, making the chair unusable. I highly recommend that you do not buy.

Beautiful Chair, Horrible Casters
i've had this chair for about a year now i've loved it... until all of the ball bearings fell out of the casters! it left a huge mess of ball bearings all over my floor and chair sits crooked now. what a hunk of GARBAGE!

Great modern office chair
we bought this chair for our small apartment home office and are very happy with it. the sleek modern design goes perfectly in our industrial/modern apartment. this is definitely not a "plush" chair, but is (surprisingly) comfortable and has good back support. i can spend all day in it without a problem. i was skeptical of the white color, but it's wearing well and doesn't seem to attract dirt.
