Meets the chic and tames kids' mess
Searched endlessly for the perfect placemats that would meet my need for chic edgy look in my newly redecorated dining room as well as be easy to clean from the mess of 2 kids and a husband. This does the job. Looks absolutely great on my glass table for informal pizza night with the family and formal dinner parties and cocktails. Absolutely love. And for the price CB2 got it right!

This are great for everyday use with kids. I like the square shape and they are very sturdy and wipe clean easily.

Great on teak
I bought these to contrast against our Danish teak dining table. They look outstanding. Great quality.

Great Placemats
I have these in carbon and love them! Easy to clean and maintain and they look really great on the table. And it's easy to change things up w/ different colored napkins, etc.

Practical
I bought these in white to go with the black dinner set I bring out for the guests. I wanted them in basket weave because I can not live with the thought of a stained white placemat which if we believe in Murphy's Laws is definitely a given. They serve me well but the other day a guest spilled some of his red wine on one of the mats. Despite several attempts there's a faint (very faint) red streak on the mat....so I am not as pleased but again it is more practical than the white cloth based table linen. Also, the white is a glossy white and looks beautiful on our black glass dining table with the black dinner plates and white serving bowls.

Nice, unique placemats
I have these in orange and chartreuse. The colors are great; love the bright orange and love the chartreuse even more. They are easy to clean and I really like the unique, square shape.

great little placemat
I have a few of these and use them everyday. You really cant beat them for the price. They are cheap enough that you can get different colors and switch out depending on your mood.

Love these mats
Recently have purchased the white ones. They square shape and size are perfect for smaller apartment tables. Love they fact they are also washable. Liked them so much bought the black ones for my son.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
Bought these placemats in black for Thanksgiving. Use them everyday now. They look great on my counter breakfast bar and also on our eat in kitchen wood table.
My daughter regularly spills syrup on them and despite the weave, they come completely clean with a wet sponge or paper towel.
I'm not sure how CB2 sells them at this cost!

Well made placemats
These placemats are awesome. I ordered the grey ones (i wish they were a little darker though) We use them everyday. They are very well made and are great value for money.

love these mats!
I think these place mats could be my most favorite purchase from CB2 yet. I love the fact they are square & the orange color is such a vibrant true orange. Don't get what people are saying that they aren't large enough to fit all your dinnerware on. How big of a dinner plate are you using, a meat plater. There is plenty of room for the plate, glass, salad bowl & silverware. Love them so much am ordering them in more colors.:)

cute placemats, odd dimensions
I got this in 4 different colors. (The chartreuse ones still haven't arrived; they are back-ordered.) They are very cute, in vibrant colors, but I wish they were of traditional placemat dimensions. The square just isn't wide enough to serve as a mat that accommodates plate, fork, knife, and spoon.

Great placemats
These placemates are great for adding some fun colors for family dinning and I am sure they would work great for holiday parties and gatherings as well. Most importantly, it's easy to clean them after dinning. Highly recommend them!

Sunny placemats
Got these for our deck this summer. Bright yellow is so cheerful. Have left them out all summer. So easy to wipe off. No fading of color all summer. Great value and design

yellow makes me happy
I LOVE these placemats. I purchased them in orange originally, but they did not go with my decor, so i took them back and purchaced the yellow it compliments my orchids and theme of black white and yellow so perfectly, everytime i look at them it makes me happy. cant go wrong great purchase.

Orange looks punchy but yellow is so-so
Bought both orange & yellow placemats. Orange looks festive & funky against our black table but yellow shows off holes in between weave and so looks cheap. Beware yellow placemats are on sale for a reason.
