Unfortunately disappointed
I love the look of these and was excited to find this style. Unfortunately, they were already slightly worn when they arrived, in spite of being wrapped. There were small scratches in the black finish that showed the metal below on many of the pieces. I was fine with knowing that the black finish might wear lighter over time, but the scratches really stand out and I reluctantly returned these. I'm exchanging for the similar style without the black on the handles. Haven't received them yet, but am hopeful that these will be more durable.

Good for every day
Good for every day use. Flatware is well balanced. Feels good in your hand.
Will be interesting to see how the flat finish on the handles holds up over time. So far so good after multiple dishwasher cleanings.

Awesome
This flatware is exactly what I thought it would be. Great weight in hand. They look exactly as pictured but I have noticed that the more you wash and dry, the more faded the handles become which is a look I prefer. I would recommend these to anyone! Great product!!!

Happy with my purchase. Have been hand washing from the beginning. Hot water affects the finish! Be careful. Inquired about serving pieces to complement them. Any available.

love the 2 tone and heft
great flatware, easy to take care of, nice and heavy.
great if you like the 2 tone rough metal look contrasted w the polished ends.
had to go see it to confirm how nice it is. worth buying for the price.

Nice looking, but a couple of things to know...
Buying things online is always a risk, and upon receiving these I found some good and bad.
I actually really like this set: the pieces have a smooth, modern, yet industrial style that I love. Most of the pieces (see below) feel good in the hand and have a nice, solid weight to them. However I took off a couple of points for the following reasons:
(1) the online listing doesn't tell you what a little piece of paper that comes with them instructs: they need to be "hand dried" to keep them looking this way. I would never have acquired flatware that needed to be hand-dried! Hopefully this instruction is overkill and they don't end up looking terrible, because I am not about to do that much work for everyday flatware.
(2) the salad forks are TINY! Teeny tiny, to be exact. I set them aside to be used as cocktail forks if I ever have need for such a thing. The smaller spoons are bordering on too small, but I think they will be fine.
(3) the back of each piece (on the silver part not the handles) states "Stainless Steel 18/0 China" in black, obvious letters. It would have been nice if they could have printed this info (it's probably required) somewhere more discreet.

Great
I've had this flatware for a little over a month and I do not have one single complaint. The weight is perfect and they are very sturdy. Not to mention, they look great!

Very good value for the price
I purchased this flatware last month. Not only does it look elegant, it has a very pleasing weight to it. I've gotten many compliments on it!
