An industrial journey in collaboration with our friends at San Francisco's Creativity Explored, a nonprofit visual arts center where artists with developmental disabilities create, exhibit and sell art (learn more at creativityexplored.org). Fascinated by bridges, tunnels and mass transit since he was a boy, artist Lance Rivers pays homage to his hometown of San Francisco in this set of industrial compositions. Originally rendered in chalk on paper, Lance's bridge architecture and landscape prints capture the beauty of mechanical elements that support a city's infrastructure. Framed in solid wood painted soft white, frosted acrylic floats over the art to create a sense of depth and dimension. Limited-edition prints are signed by the artist.
