Great price for modern accessories
I was surprised that the size of them were exactly as I had imagined them from seeing them in photos. Some of the reviews made them out to be much smaller than in photos.
The "lids" are paper thin which is a bit concerning - will they tear easily? But once closed and latched they feel very secure and much less fragile. I am excited to add my jewlrey and display on my dresser!

Neat Boxes
Looking for something different to store items? These boxes are very "neat". Resting on my 3.14 CB2 shelf, these boxes add to the unique flare of my office. Although they seem fragile, they are ready to hold your pencils, receipts and more!

So delicate but not fragile at all
This boxes are just one of a kind, I wanted some nice and original boxes for my appartment, to store pens and small things that you want to save. I saw these boxes in the store and I was really surprized by the way they are made. They are super light, lids are thin and supple and give to these boxes a uniq and modern style. I have them since a year, using them often and they steel in mint condition.
I just love them !

Cute Boxes
These are great. I bought them for an artist friend to keep paint supplies in or paint and use as gifts or gift boxes for friends. I didnt realize the tops would be so thin and soft, but they've held up well so far, so no complaints.

Even Nicer Than Expected
When these boxes arrived, I was VERY happy with them! I'm using them in my Craft Room to hold crafty odds-and-ends... and they just SCREAM to be decorated! Although I do love the raw look of the wood, I'm thinking of painting them or covering them in fabric. They're very versatile and durable. Great product!

exquisite texture, beautiful design
Purchased the set of birch boxes to provide an economical solution to packaging a single handmade gift. The sturdy yet supple wrap closure is beautifully executed. When I presented my gift in just one of the containers, the discerning male architect continued to examine the container well beyond handling the enclosures. Indeed, I will seek gifts that fit into these containers as clearly, they will be considered more of a gift than anything you can put inside.

Super Poor Quality
I bought these thinking that they were all wood. Perhaps I screwed up and didn't read the full description but they are basically the cheapest things that you can imagine! The top is paper thin, splintered wood (mine arrived with some splinters from shipping) and the sides are the cheapest wood in the world. Honestly, for the price, you shouldn't get terrible quality, paper thin, cheap box.
Don't be fooled! They look great in the picture but they are the lowest quality, highest margin possible.

Elegant
I bought these to store my jewelry and they are even more elegant in real life than the pictures. The wood is light and beautiful. The design is simple and clean.
I love them on my vanity! I almost look more at them than my face in the mirror...

Pretty and Useful
I love these little boxes an have them sitting on my desk filled with office supplies. Could be used for anything. I thought they were a little pricey but still, I'm happy with the purchase.

ok but not great
boxes were paper thin except for the ends, not super durable for daily use. They look nice and would be ok for storage of non essentials that would not requrie you to go in them daily.

Looks Perfect Anywhere!
I have wanted these boxes for ages and for Christmas decided to give them to myself as a present. I absolutley loved them. A friend's birthday came up and I knew she would love them as well, so I gave my set away and ordered another! Very attractive, natural/organic feel, fits with eclectic to mid century decor very well. Those who love the look of nature brought indoors will appreciate. The material is very thin so don't buy if you plan to store heavy objects - more appropriate: paper, post cards, stamps, pencils, pens, desk stuff, jewelry etc.

for decor only
i do admit this set looks wonderful in my home, but as the others pointed out, the material is just much too flimsy to be functional, and plus, ive had mine for a few months already, the elastic in the loops have already lost their elasticity, and are all stiff and stretched out. this item is definitely not for everday (or even in my case, every month) usage.

These boxes are simply lovely, and great for stuff you don't want out in the open. Just remember what is in the boxes!

Birch boxes
The design of the box is very attractive and more sturdy than I imagined. I added them to a bureau top to store small items. This simple addition made the room come alive. So, they are both useful and decorative. For the price, one is getting a fantastic deal on good design.

Great set of boxes!
Clean, simple design. Light weight & functional. We bought them for the largest size, to present our jewelry to a customer in & they look great. Yes the lids are thin veneer, but that's the only way to achieve the design. I will use the remaining sizes for storage & display of light weight products, like toiletries, etc. Not meant heavy duty contents, but that's kinda obvious!

Great Product Great Price
This is a unique and quality item. For the price you will not get a more unique box than these. They are too fragile for daily use, but more than just shelf eye candy. I would recommend these to anyone who has a passion for light/blonde woods. My decor is Art Deco and Birch theamed, so fits right in.

Elegant purchase
I ordered the birch storage boxes at a time when I was setting up a space for writing. The boxes are handsome--I love the simplicity of the design and the beauty of the wood. I share the same reservations expressed in other reviews and treat these boxes with care. My major concern is not that the boxes will be torn or fall apart, but that the unfinished birch will eventually become discolored or grimey from use. I would buy them again (I bought two sets) and I would also buy them as gifts.
