Missing Hardware
I received the product, but it's missing the mounting hardware, meaning the screws and plastic anchors. It specifically lists these items on the mounting instructions. There are other pieces that it lists that specifies (not included). The screws and plastic anchors are not part of this. It even says, "missing hardware, call 800.606.6387." I called this number, twice, and they told me that they are not included, because everyone's walls are different. I feel like this is false advertising. We're talking about $1 worth of hardware. Ridiculous.

Poor Quality, Saggy.
Although this only cost me $15, I expected more from CB2.
The rod itself was discolored and poorly constructed. The material was flimsy. The middle sagged. There was nothing to hold up the middle joint.
Perhaps this would work for a smaller window. My window was around 100".

Only use for small windows
The middle sagged with nothing even hanging from it It's *probably* not a bad product, but they should offer to sell the brackets separately so that we could have had a middle support. It did not work with our 79" window at all. Returning them tomorrow.

good value. simple aesthetic.
i purchased this rod to support a wall hanging and art project to be sold at my son's school auction. 1.) it was affordable, which means more money goes to the school than the product. 2.) it was more substantial and rigid than you might expect for a product at such a low price. definitely better than those I found at budget retailers. 3.) the style of the rod is simple and understated, so it didn't take attention away from the artwork it was purchased to support

Poor design and waste of money
The junction on the curtain rod where you adjust it to be shorter or longer causes curtain rings or hooks to get caught. The rings didn't slide over this junction and I had to step on a stool to open the curtains by sliding each hook over this junction point. What a pain! The cb2 curtains hooks don't slide across this point so I bought different curtain hooks and those don't slide over either! I ended up having to throw out the cb2 rod and buy a new one. These are a total waste of money.

Great for the price
These curtain rods are sturdy, fairly easy to install & a fabulous price. They are definitely a dark, matte gray and not at all silver like the photo implies.
Tips: If you have rod pocket curtains you may want to put them on the rod before installing the rod on the brackets. You may also want to insert the rod into the brackets before securing them to the wall.

solid, subtle
we have three of these, holding fairly substantial curtains quite well. i would buy again in a heart beat.
however, for the longer lengths, there really needs to be a third bracket - the two alone don't cut it.

Definitely a Bargain!
This rod was MUCH less than I expected to pay for a rod of this size (by more than half the cost!) I got more than I paid for - a sturdy rod with a nice finish that should last for many years.

No Support; Saggy
Moved into a new house and bought 14 of these to put up. There is no middle support bar included, so even without hanging any curtains, your rods are going to sag in the middle, even wirh windows as narrow as 44". We weren't about to take the few back down that were already up, and ship them all back. Kept them to avoid flashing the neighbors, or jauntily papering the windows with newspaper. They are not a great deal, if you have to go online to a certain giant Internet shopping place, to buy support brackets. You'll never match the finish of these rods, either. Pass.

Just what I needed!
Affordable curtain rods that fit my budget and style! I bought the 48"-88" and the 88"-120" sizes. A classic design that doesn't detract from my curtains, and they were easy to put up. I am very happy with these rods.

Love it!
Just what I was looking for! Clean lines. Simple and thin. Sturdy. I have it up over 5 months and it is great! Can't beat the price for the quality!

Ok - Streaky finish
In the CB2 website photo, these curtain rods appear to have an even, satiny brushed nickel finish. The ones i received were streaky and mottled. Maybe this is an intentional "industrial" look, but it's not represented in the photos, so FYI. Anyhow - they do seem sturdy and i intend to keep them. They'll be covered up by curtains soon enough.

Excellent Product for the Price
Put these rods up all over the house, and they do their job and look very simple/clean. I appreciate the great price when everyone else's rods have strange embellishments or crazy prices.

Great! Simple, easy to install and understated
This is exactly what I was looking for. After having seen many overdone rods and finials, I was happy to find these. My apartment has a number of classic molding features, so I wanted a rod that was simple and clean looking. This is it. They were also super easy to install, and you can't beat the price.

much better than expected
These rods have held up well especially for the price. I open and close the curtains everyday and the rods haven't budged.

Great!
Was a bit wary that the brackets were quite wide but when I put it up (in mintues) it was actually perfect. The item is very strudy and the clips to hang the curtains are cute.
