Our policy is simple. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we promise an appropriate refund, credit or exchange.
non-furniture returns and exchanges
CB2 will accept non-furniture merchandise returns shipped from or sold through either our stores or cb2.com within 90 days of the customer's receipt and will issue a credit or refund at the time of return in the following ways:
- If accompanied by an Original Sales Receipt or Packing Slip, the item's purchase price will be refunded in the Original Form of Tender (subject to in-store limitations below).
- If accompanied by an Original Gift Receipt or Gift Packing Slip, the item's purchase price will be refunded via a Shop Card.
- If an Original Sales Receipt or Packing Slip or an original Gift Receipt is not present, the item's current retail value will be refunded via a CB2 Shop Card. A valid photo ID is required for any such store returns.
- For store returns of cash or cash equivalent purchases accompanied with the original Sales Receipt or Packing Slip, a cash refund will be given up to $100. If the amount to be refunded exceeds $100, the balance of the refund will be mailed as a check.
Please note: Shop Cards and Gift Cards are valid for CB2, Crate and Barrel and The Land of Nod purchases, but are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or a cash equivalent, except as required by applicable law.
Appropriate exchanges, credits and refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the item(s) and for any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with applicable state law; shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable and will not be credited or refunded.
We appreciate your understanding that CB2 non-furniture merchandise may be returned in person to a CB2 store or by mail to the CB2 address on your packing slip. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.
To return an item by mail, follow the instructions on the packing slip enclosed in your order, insure the package, and mail it to the CB2 address on your packing slip. If you do not have a packing slip, please call us at 800.606.6252.
To return Basic Freight items, please call us at 800.606.6252 if your purchase was made at cb2.com, or contact the store where the original purchase was made, within 7 days of delivery; we will accept returns provided the return is completed within 30 days of delivery. If an eligible order is canceled, a refund will be issued in the original form of tender.
If you have damaged or defective merchandise, please call Customer Service at 800.606.6252 or the store where your items were originally purchased.
furniture return/exchange policy
At CB2, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our furniture. Attention to detail in design, materials and construction is always forefront. Every item in our collection is carefully inspected before leaving our distribution center. We encourage you to do the same upon receipt of your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your furniture purchase, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your delivery or warehouse/store pickup to arrange a return. For Special Order upholstery items, returns and exchanges are limited to transit damage or manufacturing defect. We will accept a return provided the return is completed within 30 days of delivery. For furniture orders placed online, please call us at 800.606.6252. For orders placed through a store, please contact the store where the sale originated.
Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected. Exchanges, credits and refunds issued will be for the item purchase price only. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable, and return shipping fees may apply. A refund will be issued in the original form of tender. If an eligible order is canceled, a refund will be issued in the original form of tender.

For International Checkout online orders, refund amounts for returned items will be credited to you by our global partner Borderfree in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order.
